Ms. Baer has chosen to limit her practice to the areas mentioned above, to permit her to deal directly with individuals who are facing legal issues, which may weigh on them emotionally. Alyssa takes a team approach when representing her clients, to make sure that her clients are fully aware of their legal rights throughout their representation.
While obtaining her Juris Doctorate at St. John’s University School of Law, in New York, Alyssa developed practical skills by working with family law and bankruptcy clients. She also held an Editorial Board position on the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review.
Alyssa was the recipient of the Joel S. Morrison Scholarship Award, reserved for a student who graduates with academic honors in the Political Science Major at the City University of New York, Queens College.
She is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar as well as the Broward County Bar Association.
